As spring arrives, so Parisians head to their favourite cafes to while away the day on a sunny pavement terrace - a Gallic ritual that begins with a strong black coffee in the morning, through to a kir or pastis at lunchtime, and then chilled rose or a ballon de blanc for the evening apero. Ever since smoking was banned, pavement terraces have mushroomed and now some worried neighbourhood town halls are trying to enforce strict limitations on how far a terrace can actually stretch across the pavement. The police are even trying to ban the evening picnics that are so popular on the city's most beautiful pedestrian bridge, the romantic Pont des Arts. But rest assured, cafe owners may have to pay a few fines, but this is one Parisian tradition that is never going to disappear. Everyone has their own secret address, but here is a selection of landmark locales, fashionable hangouts and popular neighbourhood cafes.

1. Cafe de Flore

Enjoying a cafe and croissant on a shady pavement table outside one of Saint Germain's great literary cafes is one of the ultimate Parisian experiences, and even though the prices are totally over the top, it is worth splashing out at least once in your life. The great dilemma though is whether to choose http://www.lesdeuxmagots.fr/Les Deux Magots or Cafe de Flore, side by side but perennial rivals to attract the Rive Gauche intelligentsia for over a century. Best choice has to be the Flore, which was the favourite rendez-vous of Simone de Beauvoir and Jean-Paul Sartre, and today, its discreet charm is still just that little bit classier than the more ostentatious Deux Magots.

2. Aux Folies

While the City of Light may not be an ethnic melting pot like London and New York, the brilliant Belleville bar, Aux Folies, offers a dazzling multi-cultural slice of Parisian life. Whatever time of the day or night, there is always a buzz sitting out on the crowded pavement terrace here. Belleville is still nostalgically remembered by the French as being the gritty home of the likes of Edith Piaf and Maurice Chevalier. But today it has become a far more authentic Chinatown, mixed in with North African food stalls and couscous restaurants.

3. Au Petit Fer a Cheval

The Marais is the oldest part ofParis, with opulent palaces and mansions that date back to the time of Les Liaisons Dangereuses. While tourists flock here for culture and chic shopping, locals know the Marais more as the city's prime gay neighbourhood. Au Petit Fer a Cheval - the Horse Shoe Bar - is a friendly, cosmopolitan locale that attracts a stylish clientele, and the couple of tables out on the pavement are desperately sought out as the rue Vieille du Temple is the Marais' main drag. Just opposite the bar, check out La Belle Hortense, a bookshop that doubles as a winebar.

4. Le Sancerre

Steer well clear of the tourist-trap bars around the Sacré-Coeur church in Montmartre, especially the Place du Tertre, and instead wander over to the much funkier adjoining neighbourhood, Abbesses. Open seven days a week, from 7am until 2am, Le Sancerre is a feisty mix of bohemian locals, bikers and transvestites, students and bemused tourists. Sitting out on the pavement terrace gives you a brilliant view, though you're better off with a glass of wine or a beer than the over-priced cocktails.

5. Chez Prune

The bars, cafes, boutiques and restaurants that line the bank along the Canal Saint-Martin have transformed what was once a sleepy part of town hidden away off the Place de la République into one of the hippest parts of Paris. Chez Prune has become an institution, looking out over the canal, so arrive early if you want to grab a table outside. Across the water at the Jemmapes Bar, prices are cheaper and everyone sits right on the water's edge, but they don't have the same licence as Prune, so you have to make do with plastic glasses, not the best way to enjoy a chilled rose wine.

6. Pause Cafe

There are sprawling pavement cafes all around the impressive Place de la Bastille, but to really put your finger on the pulse of this cool "quartier", search out Pause Cafe, just off the bustling rue du Faubourg Saint-Antoine. With its sunny terrace, this is the perfect spot to chill out with a lazy breakfast of orange pressée, café au lait and melt-in-the-mouth croissants. Ever since it featured in the cult Parisien movie, Chacun Cherche son Chat (Everyone's Looking for their Cat), the Pause Cafe has attracted a fashionable Bobo (Bourgeois Bohemian) crowd.

7. Le Select

Montparnasse has changed a lot since the decadent days of the Belle Epoque when an explosive mix of chic cafe society and bohemian artists flocked to grand Art Nouveau locales like La Coupole and the Closerie des Lilas. But today, it is still worth grabbing a table on the terrace outside legendary literary cafe, Le Select, once the haunt of Hemingway, Picasso and Henry Miller. The place really hasn't changed much since it opened in 1925 - apart from the prices which are not cheap. For sure, there will be plenty of tourists, but you'll also be rewarded with a delightfully cliched, but authentic, slice of Left Bank life, with students earnestly discussing philosophy, businessmen holding an impromptu meeting or elegant fashionistas taking a break from shopping.

8. Cafe de la Paix

If you really want to see just how crazy Parisian drivers can be, there is no better spectator seat than the front row of the terrace of the historic Cafe de la Paix, which looks right out over the frenetic crossroads at the Place de l'Opera. Sit back and watch the free cabaret, though if you splash out to enjoy half a dozen oysters and a glass of Chablis, expect a hefty "addition" of €31. The Cafe is part of the Le Grand Hotel, which was built in 1858 by the same architect as the sumptuous Opera Garnier, so be sure to at least have a look around the incredible interiors of the cafe and the splendid Winter Garden in the hotel itself.

9. Cafe Charbon

Rue Oberkampf is a long, narrow street that runs all the way from near Bastille up to Belleville. During the day it is a quiet laid-back place, but when the sun goes down it transforms into one of the funkiest nightlife sectors of Paris. You can choose between hip locales like the Mecano, Chez Justine and Nouveau Casino, but the place that first began the Oberkampf revolution is the Cafe Charbon, and a table on its pavement terrace is still the ultimate spot to be seen and for people-watching.

10. Cafe Beaubourg

The Costes brothers are style gurus who have been behind pretty much every trend-making cafe, bar and hotel in Paris for the last two decades, beginning with their seminal Cafe Costes through to the uber-chic Hotel Costes on rue St-Honoré. When the sun is shining, it is difficult to beat their cool Cafe Beaubourg, whose terrace has a prime view over thePompidou Centre and assorted mime artists, musicians, fire-eaters, puppeteers and comics performing on the Esplanade in front of the museum. Prices are not cheap, but you can linger as long as you want over a chocolat chaud.

I spend my holidays every year in La Lozère in southern France. It's not easy to get to – there are no direct fast trains and no airport – but that protects the character of the area and there are lots of things to do. One of the major draws of the départment is nature; it's the last relatively untouched great expanse in France and it contains the Causses (limestone plateaux) which are almost completely uninhabited and very wild.

Because there's so much forest, the area is very rich in bird life. It's a place where the eagle is king and there are many different birds of prey. If you want to see animals, there's a park full of wolves that was established by a wolf fanatic in a village called Sainte Lucie close to Marvejols. And there are wild horses that live freely on the Causses. There are also beautiful hikes that can stretch over several days, and you can do treks on horseback. It's also one of the French départments most reputed for fly-fishing. It's for real enthusiasts because the rivers are difficult to fish – but there are great rewards if you can do it.

Many of the larger villages and small towns are extremely attractive. One of the prettiest is Châteauneuf de Randon (cantonchateauneufderandon.fr), which is of particular significance to British visitors because it is where the 14th-century warrior Bertrand du Guesclin repelled the English army during the Hundred Years War. The village is completely medieval and is situated on a small hill which provides a glorious view over the surrounding area. The tourist office organises guided visits.

There may not be many Michelin-starred restaurants in the region but there are plenty of terrific places to eat: rustic places with honest food and excellent prices. You're not far from the area where Roquefort cheese is produced and there's Tomme de Lozère, a big round cheese made from cow's milk which, for my money, is the best cheese in France.

The celebrity chef: Cyril Lignac

Aveyron, in the Midi-Pyrenees region, is where I was born and where I learnt to cook. A few English people have discovered it but, compared with places like Provence, it's a hidden gem. Cuisine is part of the culture there because you have everything you need for cooking. It's a farming region, very green and similar to the most beautiful parts of the British countryside. There are lots of specialities: wine, cheese and meat.

My favourite restaurant in the north of the region is Bras, in Laguiole on the Aubrac plateau (00 33 5 6551 1820; michel-bras.com). It's run by Michel Bras, a chef quite unlike any other, who strikes a balance between the most modern styles of cooking and those rooted in the history of the region. One of his specialities is gargouillou – an assortment of baby vegetables, herbs and flowers from the area, cooked in a buttery sauce. He also has a dish called ombre et lumière (light and shade) which is fish cooked with olives. It's absolutely divine; you have to try that.

There's a fantastic market every Saturday morning in Rodez, where I was born. It's in the town square just behind the cathedral and people come from across the region to sell their produce. There are little cafes all around the square where you can sit and relax.

I learnt my trade at the Restaurant du Vieux Pont in Belcastel, a historic village in the centre of the region (00 33 5 6564 5229; hotelbelcastel.com). Run by two sisters, it has a Michelin star and serves food from the region cooked with real sensitivity and subtlety. It was once an auberge run by their mother, where all the local labourers used to eat. It has expanded since then but has retained that spirit.

If you want to work up an appetite, there are some beautiful lakes in the region such as Lac de Pareloup, where you can go boating, windsurfing or jet skiing, or just bathe. It's really a region where you have everything; great food, markets, a lake and lots of beautiful little medieval villages.

The Music insider: Cécile Revenu

La Route du Rock festival takes place in Brittany at a beautiful site in Saint-Malo, a fortified town surrounded by beaches and the sea. And it's not far from the village of Cancale, which is one of the best places in France for eating oysters, so it's great for anyone who wants to combine the best of France with music. It is a completely independent festival and is one for real music aficionados. There's a good mix of big names – they've had the Cure, Franz Ferdinand and Pulp in the past – and less well-known bands. People come to see the main bands but also to discover new ones.

The main concerts take place in the evening at an 18th-century fort, but there are also free concerts on one of the beaches in Saint-Malo. So you can get up late and wander down to the beach to listen to music and go for a dip at the same time. I remember the French artist Camille playing a gig with Nouvelle Vague on the beach and midway through the song she ran out to the sea, plunged in, came back and carried on. The organisers also put on beach football tournaments involving artists, journalists and fans.

It's always a really convivial atmosphere – lots of Bretons but also lots of other French people – all having a good time. I have been most years for the past 10 years. The weather can be a bit variable but the worst is that it's going to be a little bit cold – there's no risk of mud. I saw the New York band Interpol in the rain once there and it was magical.

Another good bet is the Garden Nef Party (17-18 July; garden-nef-party.com), which takes place at Angoulême, a historic town surrounded by ramparts. It's only been going a few years and is not expensive. The festival site is opposite the town on a hill, so you have this stunning view over Angoulême.

The fashion designer: Alexis Mabille

Arles is a very beautiful town with a strong sense of its cultural identity. The festival of photography (rencontres-arles.com), which takes place from July to September, is quite well known but it's fantastic. The whole city is taken over by photography; churches, restaurants, even private homes are all invaded by the artists. And the old SNCF train station is transformed into a massive space for installations and graphics.

Fashion is very well represented, as quite a lot of well-known fashion photographers, such as Peter Lindbergh, exhibit. There's a fantastic museum – Musée Arlatan on rue de la Republique (00 33 4 9093 5811) – where you can find costumes from the 16th and 17th centuries. Arles has seen lots of immigration and there is a strong gypsy influence. It's a very interesting place, with a real diversity of people – a lot of stars live in the area – and it's quite glamorous in the summer.

The trendiest place to stay is the Grand Hotel Nord-Pinus (00 33 4 9093 4444; nord-pinus.com). It's where the bullfighters used to prepare before going to the arena. You can also go there to eat. They serve a local speciality – a ragoût of bull meat with spices and a heavy wine sauce. I don't like it very much but it is very traditional and you should at least try it. There are lots of great coffee shops, and I'd recommend the Hôtel de la Poste on rue Molière for a drink – it has a lovely terrace with trees and it's very traditional.

A place that is great fun at night is El Patio (00 33 4 9049 5176;patiodecamargue.com), a restaurant owned by one of the members of the Gypsy Kings. It's like a big hacienda: you eat outside and there are musical performances and entertainment in the style of a 19th-century circus. It's lots of fun and great for children.

The champion surfer: Jeremy Flores

Hossegor is about half an hour from Biarritz in the Pays Basque, and 40 minutes from the Spanish border. Some of the best surfers in France are from around the area. It hosts international surfing competitions, so the waves are first-class, and for an experienced surfer there's every type of wave to have fun. Close to the shore you get very powerful ones, which are good for doing barrels, and further out there are long point breaks where you can do turns. There are lots of clubs where you can hire surf boards and take lessons. If you want to learn, I'd recommend the summer because the waves are smaller.

People from all over the world come to see the famous waves but it's not just a place for surfers: the beaches are really nice and it's a great place to sunbathe. It's becoming the destination for people who like beach holidays, but it's a pretty mellow place. Fifteen minutes from the city, you can be in the surrounding pine forests with absolutely no one around. There are routes for cycling, walking and running through the forests. And you can go through the forests and across the sand dunes to get into the ocean in places which are deserted. Those are the coolest spots.

In terms of places to stay, there's something for everyone. There are lots of cool campsites with a relaxed atmosphere and people from all over having fun. Or there are big houses with swimming pools to rent just next to the beach. As for nightlife, there's a part of Hossegor called La Centrale where all the bars are. If you ask for a good place to party, everyone will tell you the same thing: Rockfood (rockfoodhossegor.com). It's a restaurant and bar right on the beach decorated with surfboards signed by the world's best surfers, and after 11pm it turns into a club. No one actually holds parties at night on the beach itself though; everyone is very eco-conscious and they try to preserve this paradise.

The architect: Manuelle Gautrand

I spent three years in Lyon in the early 90s and the more time I spent there, the more I discovered. It may not be thought of as a tourist town but it has beautiful architectural monuments, a lovely setting and lots of cultural heritage. Two historic parts of the city are great to wander around. La Croix Rousse is the old silk-weaving quarter, where the artisans of Lyon had beautiful apartments and workshops. It has a lot of historical charm, with a flavour of 19th century industry.

The Saint-Jean quarter is another wonderfully historic area in the west of the city. It can be a bit touristy so you have to go as far west and upwards as possible to lose yourself in the little alleyways. Up there, it's inaccessible to cars so you almost have the impression of being in the country. There's a real sense of peace and calm.

Lyon has a great mix of traditional and modern architecture. The opera house on the main square was restored by the top French architect Jean Nouvel. I think it's beautiful, very contemporary but retaining a sense of history. The interior is shiny and glossy – Nouvel's style in the 80s – and magnificent. I also love the Cité Internationale de Renzo Piano, a massive complex on the banks of the Rhône with hotels, conference centres, a museum and a casino.

Another really notable aspect of architecture in Lyon is the Art Deco skyscrapers in Villeurbanne. They were built in the 30s – the first in France – and are incredible. People live there but if you're feeling adventurous you can ask if they'll let you in. Lots of the inhabitants are aware how significant their buildings are and are quite willing to let you in to climb up the inside.

Honey tasting in Parijs...

Well,,,parijs may just be the most beautiful city in the world i've ever seen. It just like a dream when the sight seeing bus passed by the eiffel tower. When you guys go to Paris, leave everything in your hotel room but your wallet and your digicam,,,,and dont forget to grab some chocolate fla with a bottle of fresh milk to be eaten by the eiffel tower,,,and trust me it is wonderful,,, I have many Parisian friends who claim they know their city like their pockets. So it’s a pleasure to find an urban gem that somehow we all overlooked.

Since 1905, the Maison du Miel has stood on the same narrow street near L’Opéra on rue Vignon, an outpost of all things honey from fragrant soaps and vinegar to sweetcakes and frosted candy balls.

The airy store has since been updated, but its well worn mosaic floor still shows the mark of time and Parisian footsteps in search of sweetness. When I’m running errands, I like to take breaks here to spend a few minutes tasting the country of France through its honey. With a spoonful of sweet liquid, I’m transported to the high mountains with a taste of rhododendron and rasberries or the mediterranean with hints of heather, rosemary and thyme.

For the store’s honey-tastings, customers are limited to four spoonfuls, barely enough to get a full sense of the bounty. But that gives employees time to offer a snap lesson on the distinct flavors and properties of each honey. I never knew until after my store explanation that honey ostensibly can calm nerves, improve digestion, and soothe breathing problems.

Berlin is not the first capital city one thinks of when it comes to great shopping. Coming from Paris, where couture is like caffeine and well-heeled Parisians are part of the cityscape, fashion in Berlin seems categorically different.

Yet for those seeking something unique, the city is rich with second-hand and vintage shops, offering a huge range of styles that reflect the cultural changes Berlin went through during the twentieth century, from the decadent Weimar Republic to the turbulent reunification years. Prices vary widely — you can pick things up from as little as 5 euros up to 150 euros. Bartering is possible, depending on the shop.

The trendy Prenzlauer berg area in eastern Berlin is a hub for vintage shopping, comparable to Greenwich Village or Notting Hill but without the inflated price tags.

Kastanienalle, known as ‘‘casting alley’’ is a good starting point for shoppers. People-watching is highly recommended — kick back at the uber cool café 103 on the corner of Zionskirchstrasse. The adjoining streets, notably Schönehauser Allee and Oderberger Strasse are also hotspots for bargain hunters. Shops brim with displays of leather boots suspended from rails, sorted by size; there are many colorful shirts and print dresses, as well as decorative objects, and the odd Bauhaus inspired piece of furniture. Shoppers could pick up a retro Adidas jacket, for example, for around 10 euros (Gek yaaaa).

A couple of shops on Weiner Strasse in the Kreuzberg district have a predominance of Tiki paraphernalia, with Hawaiian shirts that would make Magnum P.I. blush! All second-hand shops have a surplus of the ubiquitous army jacket and leather goods. However be prepared to rummage.

If second hand is not your thing, you can head down from Prenzlauer berg, towards Mitte, where Mulackstrasse is home to the German designer boutique LaLa Berlin. Their signature knits might be soft and light but don’t expect to find a bargain! Further along the street is a hip design store call Star Styling, with a mix of silk shirts, knits and accessories.

Thrift shopping hardly conjures up the Berlin of Dietrich’s day but young and hip eternally Das ist Berlin.

Door een ongeval op de snelweg zijn maandagochtend een 56-jarige man en een 54-jarige vrouw om het leven gekomen. Dat meldde de politie. Hun bijna 2 jaar oude kleinzoon werd ter observatie naar een ziekenhuis overgebracht.....

Beberapa hal penting sebelum pergi liburan :
1. Selesaikan semua tugas2 di kampus,,, jangan ninggalin tugas2 terbengkalai tak dikerjakan,,,,ntar liburan jadi penuh praduga dan praduga penuh kekhawatiran
2. Bicarakan dengan tutor di kampus kalau kamu mau liburan selama beberapa waktu,,,agar tidak terjadi kesalahpahaman di kemudian hari seperti yang dialami mozes dkk saat berlibur ke paris beberapa waktu yang lalu,,,,,
3. Kalau ada kerjaan part time, misal di restoran ato di bar, ato di toko bunga atau jagain hewan peliharaan dosen (woops siapa niiii) pastikan udah ada gantinya selama kita liburan ntar,,,,awas yang namanya kepercayaan sulit didapat mudah hilang,,,,
4. Kunci serep rumah,,,titipin ke teman yang stay thuis,,,,,bisi ntar (GOD forbidd) kecopetan di metro di paris ato di itali,,,(siapa lagi ni yaaaa,,,oppsss) gak begitu kesusahan ntar,,,,
5. Passport bikin kopiannya,,,,,taro di rumah,,,,,Verblijf juga,,,,,kedua dokumen penting itu wajib dibawa kemana2 saaat anda liburan,,,(sering diperiksa looooo )
6. Bawa emergency food (coklat2, permen2) taro di saku tas di sampinggg in case ntar ke suatu tempat yang jam buka supermarketnya super aneh,,,(walau di belanda dah paling aneh,, kecuali di rotterdam buka 24 jam senin sampe senin,,,,hohophohohoho)
7. Bawa jaket (walau zomer, yang namanya eropa tetap berangin jadi jaket tipis is a must)

Yup, tadi dapat pemberitahuan pernikahan satu lagi,,sekali lagi : Selamat Menempuh Hidup Baru.

Oh iya, udah berkali2 gw di sini menemukan cara nikah yang aneh2, kmren waktu ke Edam ada yang nikah diatas jembatan tua..trus ada yang nikah pake kereta labunya ala cinderela yang ditarik pake kuda putih, ada juga yang nikahnya diatas kanoe,,,(kalo yang ini gw ada fotonya,,lagi bawa kamera abisnya) hehehehe,,,,

Ok, hari ini sedang gelap mata. Bukan karena hujan seharian yang mencegah terjadinya acara jalan keluar rumah, tapi gara2 tidak sengaja mengklik satu link di jejeran link favorit di sisi kiri browser IE.6.
Mengapa saya langsung gelap mata, karena dalam waktu seperseribu detik muncul gambar ukuran besar seperti ini:
Pernah gak mengalami keadaan dimana kita gak bisa berkata2? NAH itulah yang terjadi dalam beberapa detik setelah gambar ini terbuka. Oh iya, kenapa gelap mata? abisnya, satu, sudah hampir setaun gw gak merasakan nikmatnya gambar diatas, dua, gambar ini muncul jam 2 siang, which is jam2 dmn saatnya mengunyah dan mengunyah. Ok, karena sudah mulai gada kerjaan di rumah (padahal masi banyak kalo dibikin list) keluar deh keinginan2 untuk membeli. Dari mulai pengen beli sepatu, sampe beli tas. Padahal bagasi udah hampir penuh, ntar mo dibawa pulang gmn caranya coba. Anyway, namanya juga blog, boleh dong nulis apa aja terserah gw. Ok lets begin.
Item pertama yang pengen gw miliki (posesi terbesar.....) adalah sepatu ini, dikeluarkan oleh Invito, sebuah merk kondang dari negeri pizza disana, dengan harga 80 euro (taun lalu) sekarang udah 60 euro...hadoooh kapan jadi 30 euronya....hiks... sepatu ini sangat bagus dipake dipadankan dengan apaan juga (menurut bisikan beberapa pihak....) pas dicoba memang terbukti sangat nyaman dipake, model trendy namun harga gak kira2...
Item kedua yang pengen dipunyai adalah jeans dibawah ini, dikeluarkan oleh G-Star,,salah satu merk kondang di eropa sini...(kayanya ya,,abis di seantero benua tokonya ada dimana-mana) nah model yang satu ini pas gw coba kemaren,,,enak bangeet huhuhuh nyaman dipake,bahannya lemas dengan tampilan perkasa (bodi binaraga, jiwa balerina),,tapi problemnya sama,,,harganya booow...masi blom didiskon juga,,skalinya diskon bukan model yang ini,,,aaarrrrggghhh engkau tidak adil...btw harga = 119 euro saja.. tapi model ini sedikit mengandung unsur politis gak sih,,liat deh ada jaitan bentuk bintangnya israel di depannya,,gw si gak masalah,,tapi ntar kalo ada yang bawel di indo kan males juga...haaaahh...
The third item,,,,adalah jaket ini,,,,keluarannya g-star jg...harganya lupa sekitaran 70-90 euro lah..pokoknya lumayan unik bentuknya,.jadi pengen,,,pas dicoba berat si,,,tapi nampak hangat kalo lagi berangin2
Last but not least...tas punggung aneh,,,dari replay.,..harga ntah..udah gelap mata,,kesal,,,kenapa 1 euro=11000,,,jadi nya pas mo beli ada beban mental masi banyak orang kelaparan diluar sana,,,,(halah.....padahal mah gak punya duit)hehehehehe,,,

Masak spagetthi ala bolognaisse

Spagethi Bolognaisse...

Bahan:
1. 1 Bungkus spagethi yang biologis biar gak bikin gemuk
2. Spaghethi Pasta merk bertolli yang Rustico3. Tomato Puree beli yang kecil aja
4. Saos Tomat merk Heinz (wajib heinz)

5. Daging sapi cincang yang masi segar
6. Paprika Merah dan Hijau
7. Corgette (Ketimun juga gapapa kalo gada Corgette)
8. Jamur yang putih itu lo
9. Bawang bombay dan bawang putih bubuk (biar gampang)
10. Extra virgin olive oil (biar gak bikin gemuk)
11. Kaldu sapi merk maggi
12. Garam dapur
13. Italiaans kruiden (italian herbs di indo mungkin di setiabudi supermarket ada)
14. Merica, cyanne pepper, paprika poeder

Cara:
1. Panaskan 1 sendok makan minyak zaitun trus tumis2 daging cincangnya sampe minyak2 dan lemak2 daging cincangnya keluar,,,jangan lupa kasi garam dan merica yang banyak biar asin...
2. Udah itu minyak2 dan lemak2nya dibuang...trus dagingnya ditiriskan.,,,
3. Rebus air yang banyak tambahkan minyak dan garam berlebih ke dalam aer itu,,,buat ngerebus spagethhi nya
4. Panaskan minyak 2 sendok makan di penggorengan, tumis bawang bombay, bawang putih, paprika, jamur, dan corgette,,,sampe wangi dan sedikit layu
5. Masukkan daging yang tadi dah ditiriskan....aduk2 bentar,,
6. Masukkan bertolli pastanya,,gak usah banyak2 setengah botol aja,,
7. Masukkan tomato puree nya,,,trus italian herbs dan maggi blok nya (1 blok aja)
8. Aduk2 tambahkan aer dikit, kecilkan api tinggal kan beberapa saat
9. Setelah air yang tadi disiapkan di point no 2 mendidih, masukkan spagethinya,,ati2 jangan sampe ada yang putus,,,setelah 6 menit direbus...tiriskan langsung siram pake air dingin sambil dibolak-balik pake tangan aja(susah jelasinnya ternyata,,)pokoknya biar dia gak nempel..
10. Udah dingin,,masukin dikit2 ke penggorengan yang sudah dibiarkan di point no 8.
11. Aduk pelaan-pelan,,jangan sampe mutusin spagethinya,,,sudah gitu,,
12. Hidangkan selagi hangat, bersama musik2 ringan sambil nonton dvd pun oke...

What makes Rotterdam the city is? It is the atmosphere of the monumental buildings in the city? The Erasmus Bridge and naturally the Euromast, which is in the middle of all action, have become the symbol of the city.

Maybe you think of the Maas, the cube houses or the harbor or maybe the cozy inner city? It is clear for everyone the city is different. Even if the buildings are the same, everyone sees them through their own eyes.

For me, june is the hottest month of the year (so far), it is very busy in ice cream parlors. And why not, the mercury almost reaches 30 degrees and i think it is the very first hot wave of the year..(in Jakarta, 32-34 is normal)....
A city like Rotterdam has a lot to offer : there is a center with an extensive offering of shops, varying from popular department stores (e.g : H&M, V&D, C&A, and so on) to the smaller, more exclusive boutiques of well know brands. There are city parks, and there are the rivers and canals that cross throughout the city. Picture below is the BeursPlein, a modern shopping center in the heart of Rotterdam In designing Rotterdam's Beursplein Promenade, the designer consciously juxtaposed old and new, blending stone walls and portals with metal and glass. There is one beautiful place in Rotterdam, one of my favorite, Delfshaven. I think it is one of the most beautiful parts of Rotterdam. If you visiting Holland, then you should go here by yourself. It is a very old part of Rotterdam, it was Delft territory at the 1400(old isn't it?).
There is an unique site in Rotterdam, not an old building, it is a modern apartment complex with bright full color around. Well it is not that interesting for you maybe, but for me it is awesome. This place located at Leuvenhaven, looking in the direction of Boompjes. The three buildings near the Erasmusbrug are lit in the primary colors.

Finally, i can update my blog again.

Time running so fast, faster than you can imagine. I think that is why, the quote "time is money" should be borne in our mind. Last month i was very busy with my movement, from deventer to rotterdam. I got a very big room, bigger than the last one in deventer, i think. Much warmer, because i have sun light shinning through my window.
For your information, the symbol of rotterdam is the euromast. It is a tower with a rotating restaurant at the edge of the tower. I can see the euromast clearly from my bed, i've took a picture of it.

Witteveen+Bos, yup that is the place where I'm going to work for the next 5 months. It is not real work, it is an traineeship for my graduation at school. Actually this company is not my first choice to have my traineeship. But, human plans God decides, I got to work here. God's decision is always the best for us, even if we think the opposite. Witteveen+Bos are in the Top Ten of Dutch consulting engineering companies and have been nominated as one of the best companies of the future according to the latest report of the Organisation for Investigating Top Companies. Working in an International company really make me feel challenged, finally I am going to apply my limited knowledge from school to the real world. I'm going to start work on monday, february 19 2007 in Rotterdam. It means that I have to move there, with all my luggage and stuff. Its going to be a looooong day, i dont know how am i going to manage all that stuff. Wish me luck.

One by one, my dreams come true. Today, successfully ended martabak-cooking process gave me a big confidence for my cooking ability. Why not? this is my first time ever making martabak, and it taste so good, can't stop eating this food. With recipe from Herti Kitchen Gallery, the martabak look exactly like this picture. Seems delicious huh?. This food really cured my Indonesian-food-sick syndrome instantly. I know, that this food contains too much oil, but "hell-yea" i don't care with my hips or my cholestherol level. I have not eat this food since august last year, so no sin at all (i think).

COOL....that word come up in my mind when i start using this newest version of microsoft office. It is the Windows-Vista-Look-Like microsoft office. I really like this software.
